Ambuja Cements has recently won the CII-ITC Sustainability Award for three locations: Bhatapara, Chandrapur, and Farakka — recognized for excellence in CSR, policy, practices, and impacts. Moreover, it has been commended for significant achievement. The award was presented by Shri Prakash Javadekar, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, during an online ceremony organized by the CII team.

The CII-ITC Sustainability Award recognizes and rewards excellence in businesses that actively pursue sustainability and inclusiveness in their operations. Beyond recognition, the award process also measures performance and offers detailed feedback to identify areas for further improvement.

The three awarded locations also secured a position in the Environment Management category of the same awards.
