Ambuja Foundation, in collaboration with Idobro Impact Solutions and Samhita-CGF, launched the CSR PACT recently - an initiative for CSR leaders to come together and discuss four strategic pillars: Policy, Action, Capacity and Transformation. After a decade of CSR law, there was a felt need to relook at CSR strategy and impact, and to bring together leaders from the space to collaboratively discuss the decade gone by. An invite- only forum, CSR PACT will be organized every quarter, and invites leadership to discuss challenges, share experiences and explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

The long-term goals of the PACT (group) under the four pillars are:

Policy: Leverage government schemes and shape the policies that drive or hinder the sector;

Action: Amplify and advocate for best practices, solutions, and innovation to scale and replicate initiatives;

Capacity Building: Design appropriate programs to enhance the skills at different levels among partner organisations;

Transformation: Influence outcomes and inspire stakeholders to take collective action for common good and transformative change.

This collective effort saw multiple CSR and Corporate Foundation heads based in Mumbai, come together in July to discuss challenges, share capabilities and explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation. The forum will have a multi-sectoral approach with the first session focusing on livelihoods. CSR PACT aims to maximise the impact of CSR projects and initiatives that contribute to the transformation of India in years to come.
