AMK Principal & Students Take Home State Awards


AMK has won 3 state level awards. Every year, on World Disability Day, Govt of Punjab felicitates notable achievements in the field of disability. This year 10 winners in different categories were announced, of which three were from Ambuja Manovikas Kendra.


  1. Ms. Neha - Best Sports Person with Disability (Female Category)

  2. Mr. Kamaljeet Singh - Best self employed with Disability (Male Category)

  3. Mr. Suresh Kumar Thakur - Best Individual (In Professional Category)


Recipients accepted their awards in front of over 1000 people at a ceremony in Amritsar, Punjab on 3rd December 2018 - presented by Ms Raji P Srivastwa (IAS), Principal Secretary, Department of Social Security, Women & Child Development - Govt. of Punjab.

  • Graduation Time: 1st Batch from AMKs Skilling Centre

    Fifteen differently-abled youth are today earning an average of Rs. 1500 per month, thanks to their new vocational skills and home based enterprises. The first batch of 17 students graduated from Ambuja Manovikas Kendra's Skill Development Centre in August 2018 -- showcasing the potential for differently-abled youth to learn and earn.
