Banking on Financial Services Skills.

Financial services is a rapidly growing industry that currently faces a significant shortfall of operational and frontline staff. To tackle this industry gap - meeting the needs of both employers and youth in search of employment, Ambuja Foundation has joined hands with AU Small Finance to launch the AU Skills Academy in Jaipur.

The Academy will run a Banking Correspondent Course, imparting 60-day intensive banking and financial sector training as per NSDC norms, to students. Taking a more holistic approach to its training, the Academy will also incorporate soft skills, grooming and IT skills enhancement components to students studying the course.

The first batch of banking correspondent students graduated on the 5th December 2018 with 20 trainees placed in various private sector banks, microfinance and Non-Banking Financial companies.

The 2nd and 3rd batches are currently underway and a 4th batch has been signed up and is expected to commence on 5th January 2019.
