Recognition & Awards: Celebrating Impact Across Communities

Ambuja Foundation’s work across health and skill development has recently received recognition at both national and state levels, reflecting the continued efforts of its teams, partners, and communities in creating meaningful grassroots impact.

· ICC Social Impact Award for NCD Prevention Initiative

Ambuja Foundation’s project on the Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) received the Special Recognition Award at the 8th ICC Social Impact Awards in the category of Health, Hunger, Poverty & Sanitation.

The award recognises the Foundation’s work in promoting preventive healthcare, awareness, early screening, and healthier lifestyles in rural communities, helping address the growing burden of lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.

· SEDI Chandrapur Receives ‘Best ITI Award’

SEDI Chandrapur was honoured with the ‘Best ITI Award’ for 2023–24 by the Directorate of Vocational Education & Training (DVET), Maharashtra.

The award was presented by Mrs. Manisha Verma, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary – Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Government of Maharashtra, in the presence of senior leaders from the Maharashtra Skill Development ecosystem.

The recognition reflects SEDI’s continued commitment to high-quality vocational training, industry-aligned skilling, and strong placement outcomes for youth.

· SEDI Rampachodavaram Recognised by Andhra Pradesh Government

SEDI Rampachodavaram was also honoured by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for its meaningful contribution towards creating livelihood opportunities for underprivileged youth through focused skill development initiatives. The recognition highlights the centre’s role in enabling young people to access sustainable employment pathways and build brighter futures through skill-based education.

These recognitions highlight the dedication of field teams, trainers, community partners, and institutions working together to create lasting impact across health, livelihoods, and youth empowerment.
