Annual Partners Meet Generates Employment Opportunities for Youth

Every year, Skill and Entrepreneurship Development Institutes (SEDI) at various locations organize regional Partners Meets to strengthen ties with existing employers and partners, and also identify new employers for graduates. This year the Partners Meets were held in Nagpur, Bathinda and Bhatapara in association with different stakeholders.

At one of these Partner Meets, Ambuja Foundation's General Manager Skill Development, Mr. Ravi Nayse, highlighted key facets of SEDIs Skill Training initiatives. At each event, SEDI graduates shared their story and expressed views on how SEDI changed their lives through skilling. Each location had their own theme with a focused approach to unleash the potential of youth through Skill Training and Placement Initiatives.

The meet involved skill exhibitions, panel discussion, key insights, expert advice and opportunities of collaboration. The SEDI team was privileged to have experts from various industries as well as representatives of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) present during the meets. For the employers, the event was insightful as it included introductory presentations from SEDI, experience sharing and career counselling of unemployed youth, and SEDI graduates sharing their experiences.
