Mini Science Centre

The plug-and-play models support the students in understanding various science and maths concepts, so that they are not just ‘memorizing’ the concepts, but retaining them throughout their lives. Additionally, they are approved by 6 SCERT - Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Nagaland, and Jammu & Kashmir for their alignment with the curriculum.

The objectives behind the concept of the Mini Science Centre are to ignite scientific interest among children to:

  1. 1. Develop aptitude and inquiry-based learning through practical models

  2. 2. Develop interest in subjects like Science and Mathematics through a practical based approach

  3. 3. Enhance learning abilities by assisting in developing subject knowledge with pedagogy-based modules

  4. 4. Bridge the gap between theory and practical

The Mini Science Centre has been helpful in providing improved teaching aids which creates a child-friendly environment and ecosystem in schools for understanding difficult theories and concepts through fun and enjoyment leading to improved aptitude among students.

Teachers were also trained and capacitated to teach students in a better way through the Teachers Training Program (TTP). The program ensures that the teachers are trained about the maximum utilization of the exhibits so that the teachers can teach the students effortlessly. This has led to a change in the pedagogy of the school.
