Ambuja Foundation was honoured to have the new Managing Director and CEO of Ambuja Cement Limited <b>Mr Bimlendra Jha</b> as the guest of honour during a Community Interaction and celebration of 'International Women's Day' at Rabriyawas, Rajasthan.

Ambuja Foundation's Pashu Sakhi, Chaya Mondal received the Krishak Samman Award during the Mati Utsab Function in Murshidabad where she was awarded Rs. 25,000 for her efforts in the Goat Based Livelihood Programme in Farakka, West Bengal. Chaya was recognised for her work; treating over 164 goats in her village and for actively creating awareness on goat health in her community.

Changes are afoot at Jay Bharat Maruti Group in Gujarat. A manufacturer of automotive components, this giant has over 55 manufacturing plants globally. However, up until 2018, its factory in Vithalpur only recruited men - after all most of the work involves hard labour.
